Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery superior in cycle characteristic by reducing the difference in SOC between the inside and outside of an electrode body.SOLUTION: A battery 100 comprises: an electrode body 10 arranged by laminating positive electrodes 11 and negative electrodes 14 so that they alternate with a separator 17 interposed therebetween; and an outer casing 20 as an outer packaging body for housing the electrode body 10. The positive electrodes 11 each have a positive electrode current collector 12 composed of a piece of metal foil, and a positive electrode active material 13 disposed on the positive electrode current collector 12. The negative electrodes 14 each have a negative electrode current collector 15 composed of a piece of metal foil, and a negative electrode active material 16 disposed on the negative electrode current collector 15. The metal foil of at least one electrode of two electrodes of the electrode body 10, which are located on an outermost side in a lamination direction of the electrode body, is larger than the metal foil of the electrodes located on an inner side with respect to the two outermost electrodes in resistance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
