Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery which can suppress the rise in battery temperature when the battery generates heat owing to short circuit or the like while suppressing the worsening of a battery output performance.SOLUTION: A battery comprises a plurality of unit cells laminated. The plurality of unit cells each have: a pair of current collectors disposed at opposing ends in a laminating direction respectively; and at least one electrode body between the pair of current collectors, provided that the at least one electrode body includes an active material layer of a first electrode and an active material layer of a second electrode different from the first electrode, and a solid electrolyte layer disposed between the first and second electrode active material layers. The current collectors are put in contact with the first electrode active material layer or the second electrode active material layer. The battery further comprises heat-absorbing layers each including a heat-absorbing material and disposed between the unit cells adjacent to each other in the laminating direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
