To improve the input/output characteristics of a battery.SOLUTION: A battery includes a nonaqueous electrolyte, an electrode body having a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an insulating layer formed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and an exterior body housing the nonaqueous electrolyte and the electrode body, and the conductivity of the nonaqueous electrolyte is 0 to 1.3×10S/cm, and a relationship with the ratio of the content (Y) of the nonaqueous electrolyte in the exterior body to the pore volume (X) in the electrode body (Y/X) and the usage capacity (Z) of the negative electrode is Y/X>9Z-500.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
