Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery capable of increasing a scale in simple constitution, retarding the deterioration of an active material and a catalyst, installing a heat transfer surface within a battery, and enhancing energy density.
SOLUTION: A powdery active material of an anode and an electrolyte solution 16 are filled in an anode cell 12 of two containers connected through a filter 10 through which ions are passed, a powdery active material of a cathode and an electrolyte solution 18 are filled in a cathode cell 14, and current collectors 20, 22 made of a conductor, coming in contact with the powdery active materials are installed in the two containers respectively. The powdery active materials form a fixed layer.
