Abstract:
To provide an inexpensive bay window for a bathroom, equipped with a remote opening/closing operation function, which can undergo a remote opening/closing operation by using a simple structure, and in which malfunctions rarely occur.
A rack 2 is provided in a rail 1a of a sash 1 almost throughout the length of the rail 1a. A pinion 3 is engaged with the rack 2, and a turning force transmitting component 5 is connected to the pinion 3. The pinion 3 is formed to be free to turn remotely via the component 5 by means of a crank- shaped turning operating handle 7.
