Abstract:
To provide a beacon device and a beacon transmission and reception system, capable of enhancing a signal strength of a beacon signal in a specific direction.SOLUTION: The beacon device includes: a transmitter 140 for transmitting a beacon signal; and a shield case 130 of a conductive member having a bottom surface 131 and a side wall 132 and accommodating the transmitter 140. An upper surface of the shield case 130 is an opening surface 133. A dimension of the opening surface 133 is within a half wavelength or a predetermined range from a half wavelength of the beacon signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
