Abstract:
To provide a bead whose surface is made of fabric, which has a highly rigid columnar part, secures rigidity of a margin, and causes little yarn fraying, and a manufacturing method for the same.SOLUTION: A bead 10 has a long columnar column part 11 and a leg 12 integrally formed into a belt shape along a side surface of the column part 11, and the outer surface of the column part 11 and the leg part 12 are formed by a fabric body. The column part 11 is formed by covering a solid columnar core material part 11a with a first fabric body part to be a part of the fabric body. The leg 12 is formed by a second fabric body part to be a part of the fabric body. On the surface of the core material part 11a, a fusion yarn fused by heating is disposed, and in the second fabric body part, the fusion yarn is disposed. The first fabric body part and the second fabric body part are woven integrally with the core material part 11a, heated and, after the fusion yarn is melted and cooled, is formed in the solidified state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
