Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a beam compression processing method of an antenna pattern which enables further upgrading of beam compression performance of the antenna pattern while the preventing of the missing of an output signal in a radar using an antenna system of a mono-pulse feeder system.
CONSTITUTION: A scanning is performed transmitting a radiowave in the same phase from the same two antennas 1 and 1 of a mono-pulse feeder system and the received signals of the two antennas 1 and 1 receiving the reflected ratiowave are inputted into a hybrid circuit 4 to form a sum signal Σ and a difference signal Δ. After demodulation with a detection circuit 5, a two-tier differentiation processing of the sum signal Σ and the difference signal Δ is performed with a signal processing section 6. Only when the two-tier difference coefficient of the sum signal Σ is below a positive real number preset while the two-tier differentiation coefficient of the difference signal Δ is above a negative real value preset, the sum signal Σ is outputted. Otherwise, zero is outputted.
