PURPOSE: To provide possibility of fine adjustment and enhance linearity by making the setting so that the pulsation frequency, duty ratio and amplitude level can be adjusted and performing adjustment of beams by pulse control.
CONSTITUTION: This control device is composed of a pulse oscillator 1 having potential to make cotrol of the oscillation frequency and duty ratio, a level converter 2 having the function to control the amplitude level of input pulses and composed of level converters 20, 21, and an amplifier 3 which performs adjustment and control by amplifying the output of level converter 2 and supplying the current to the lamp 6. If the oscillator 1 emits a square wave 1A with frequency f and duty ratio n, pulses are generated in three groups G1, G2 and G3. The pulse 1A is placed in the converter 20 while the inverted output 1B is placed into the converter 21, and the outputs 2A, 2B of the converters 20, 21 are given waves different in frequency, duty ratio and level, and thus fine adjustment becomes possible in any way.
