Title:
BEAM CONVEYER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07196125
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a beam conveyer which does not deteriorate its periodical locus even though it takes an inverted posture, an inclined posture or a vertical posture, by using a lifting positive motion cam mechanism and a stroking positive motion cam mechanism as a periodic drive mechanism.

CONSTITUTION: When a drive shaft 8 is rotated, stroke motion is applied to a shaft support plate 6b in a first beam part and a shaft support plate 6c in a second beam part. Simultaneously, stroke motion is applied to a shaft support plate 6a in the first beam part and a shaft support plate 6d in the second beam part. It is noted that the shaft support plates 6a, 6d are not directly applied with stroke motion from a drive part, but is applied by way of the beam parts as indicated by the arrows R, S. A substantially quadrangular locus of each beam part is given by positive motion cams (a cylindrical cam 15, grooved cams 23a to 23d). Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the beam parts from coming off from the positive motion cams even though the beam conveyer is set in a horizontal conveying posture, an inverted conveying posture or a vertical conveying posture.
