To provide a beam pipe joint structure of a protective fence having an excellent aesthetic appearance in which the semi-circular section surface of a beam pipe is aligned with the semi-circular section surface of a bracket.

A bracket 42 of cylindrical shape in cross section is secured to the front face of a strut 41, and an inner sleeve 45 is inserted into the bracket 42 and a bolt 46 is fixedly screwed thereto from the underside. The inner sleeve 45 is brought into contact with the lower inner surface of the bracket 42 and deviated to the lower side. The end of the beam pipe 58 is put on the inner sleeve 45 and the beam pipe is secured with a beam pipe fixing bolt 59 passing from the upper side to the lower side. As the beam pipe fixing bolt 59, for example, a bolt with swelled part is used. Since the swelled part (distance control part) 59b is interposed between the inner surface of the beam pipe and the outer surface of the inner sleeve, the beam pipe 58 can be held on the inner sleeve 45 in the raised state. Consequently, the semi-circular section surface of the beam pipe is aligned with the semi-circular section surface of the bracket.
