Abstract:
To provide a beam reproduction device with which it is possible to display a social metric space as a three-dimensional space by which a natural sense of distance is obtained, and which is mostly free of blurs.SOLUTION: Provided is a beam reproduction device for reproducing a beam virtually emitted from a stereoscopic image when reproducing the stereoscopic image in a reproduction space, the device including a stereoscopic image display unit for displaying the stereoscopic image, as at least one of a virtual image and a real image, by the beam emitted by each element cell included in an element cell aggregate composed of a plurality of element cells two-dimensionally arranged in correspondence to a reproduction screen. The stereoscopic image display unit displays the stereoscopic image in a region the depth distance of which in the reproduction space is equivalent to social metric, with the size of the element cell which is each cell in the element cell aggregate and the pitch of the element cells when the element cells are two-dimensionally arranged assuming the values determined in accordance with the frequency of the stereoscopic image displayed in the reproduction space being observed by observers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
