Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a beam welding method capable of firmly welding and connecting a covered stranded wire to a terminal, or mutual covered stranded wires, or mutual circuit boards.
CONSTITUTION: This method is based on a method for inserting a substantially V-shaped sectional conductive insert member to apart 3 to be connected, multiply reflecting a beam on the inner wall surface of the insert member to fuse the insert member, thereby firmly welding the insert member to the part to be connected. Further, this method includes a method for providing a substantially V-shaped sectional insert part 6 on a terminal body 5 having a crimping part 4 to a covered stranded wire 3, and multiply reflecting the beam to the inner wall surface of the insert part in the state where the insert part is inserted into the covered stranded wire to fuse the insert part, thereby welding and connecting the stranded wire to the terminal body; and a method for providing a substantially V-shaped stranded wire housing part and a substantially V-shaped sectional insert part to be inserted into the stranded wire housing part in which the stranded wire is housed, and multiply reflecting the beam on the inner wall surface of the insert part to fuse the insert part, thereby welding and connecting the stranded wire to the stranded wire housing part.
