Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide a necessary rigidity in a short time by sticking a laminated sheet of fiber reinforced resin on the surface of a work transfer beam, which is made of metal, for a transfer press with a vacuum cup.
SOLUTION: Fiber reinforced resin laminated sheets 11, 12 are stuck on the surface of a steel section 10 forming the work transfer beam 5. A flat plate is used for the laminated sheet 11 due to the difficulty in producing and sticking, and rounded parts of the four corners of the steel section and vacuum cup 7 mounting parts 7c on both sides 10 are out of the sticking objects. Furthermore, at the upper and bottom sides of the central part of the beam 5, where the bending moment occures in hoisting a work, the thickness and the number of laminated sheets stickings are preferred to be increased more than the other parts to provide a stronger rigidity. In this case, the hollow square steel section 10 is used for the beam 5, but a square pipe form materials for sheet welding is acceptable and it can be made of aluminum other than steel.
