Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing abnormality detection apparatus for a railroad vehicle capable of accurately determining abnormality of bearings for a railroad vehicle.SOLUTION: A bearing abnormality detection apparatus for a railroad vehicle that detects abnormality of multiple rolling bearings incorporated into an axle box 3 comprises: multiple vibration detection devices 15 for detecting an operating state of each rolling bearing as vibration data; and an analysis device for determining abnormality of the rolling bearings from the vibration data detected by the vibration detection devices 15. The bearing abnormality detection apparatus for a railroad vehicle further comprises: heading measurement-start instructing means that makes the vibration detection device 15 disposed in the vicinity of a wheel of a heading vehicle start to detect vibration data in response to a measurement-start input; and following measurement-start instructing means that, after the measurement-start input is supplied to the heading measurement-start instructing means, makes each of the vibration detection devices 15 disposed in the vicinity of following wheels start to detect vibration data while sequentially giving a delay time to each of them.
