To easily and accurately measure the clearance of a bearing by a measurement load adapting to the bearing, and to measure a radial clearance and an axial clearance with the same device.
This bearing clearance measurement device measures the clearance of the bearing 3 having an inner ring 1 and an outer ring 2. The bearing clearance measurement device includes: a support body 12 having a support surface 11 for fixing the bearing; a pair of holding members 14 that extend perpendicularly from the support surface, can move symmetrically along the support surface, and can hold the side surface of the inner ring 1 or outer ring 2 in parallel to the support surface; a load charging device 16 for charging the load F of the measurement direction on the outer ring 2 or inner ring 1; a load cell 18 for detecting the load; a displacement sensor 20 for detecting the displacement of the measurement direction of the outer ring 2; a synchronous data detector 22 for synchronously taking the detected data of the load cell and displacement sensor; and a clearance arithmetic device 22 for calculating the clearance in the measurement direction, based on the displacement when the load reaches a predetermined definition load.
