Abstract:
To provide a bearing cup which makes an interface between the bearing cup and a shaft housing box proper.SOLUTION: A bearing cup 10 for a bicycle bottom bracket assembly comprises an annular body 12 having: a radially-outer substantially-cylindrical surface portion 14b that is configured to be coupled with the frame of the bicycle; and a radially-inner substantially-cylindrical surface portion 14a that forms a housing seat part 16 for a bearing 30. A plurality of ribs 18 extend radially inward from the radially-inner substantially-cylindrical surface portion 14a. The ribs 18 are configured to be coupled with the bearing with an interference. The present invention also relates to a bicycle bottom bracket assembly that comprises the above-mentioned bearing cup 10 and the bearing configured to be housed inside the bearing cup 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
