PURPOSE: To prevent a shaft current front flowing to a heat pipe and improve the cooling efficiency of a bearing by fitting the heat pipe to the bearing and, at the same time, providing an insulating pipe between the heat receiving section and heat radiating section of the heat pipe and enclosing a working fluid having a good electricity insulating property in the heat pipe.
CONSTITUTION: The heat receiving sections 9 of a loop type thin heat pipe 8 are buried in a bearing 4 with an electricity insulating material in between and the heat radiating section 10 of the pipe 8 is arranged on the outside of a bearing box 2. A working fluid 12 having a good electricity insulating property is enclosed in the heat pipe 8 and, in order to make the fluid 12 to flow in one direction, a check valve 13 is provided between the heat receiving sections 9 and the heat radiating section 10 and an insulating pipe 14 is mounted between the sections 9 and section 10 for preventing the electricity front flowing front the bearing 4 to the section 10. Since the heat is directly taken out front the bearing 4 by means of the heat pipe 8 in such way, the bearing cooling efficiency can be improved. In addition, since the insulating pipe and working fluid having the good electricity insulating property are used, the flowing of the shaft current to the heat pipe can be prevented.
