To provide a magnetic disk device with a bearing mechanism for suppressing scattering of lubricant when an impact is applied and maintaining predetermined amount of the lubricant.
In a seal part of a bearing device, the lubricant 3 is filled in a space where a fixation member 1 and a rotating member 2 are opposed to each other to form a gas-liquid interface 6 where the lubricant 3 comes into contact with air all the time. A face 4r alternately having surfaces comprising rotating member side oil repellant parts and lipophilic parts and a face 4s alternately having surfaces consisting of fixation member side oil repellant parts and lipophilic parts are provided on a rotating member side lubricant contact face 5r and a fixation member side lubricant contact face 5s.
