PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device which secures a stable locking-part protrusion amount while employing crushing processing and allows relative rotation by a non-separation structure without interference between an outer ring and a fixed platen structure, and a manufacturing method of the bearing device.SOLUTION: A bearing device 10 comprises a rolling bearing in which a plurality of rolling bodies 103 are arranged between an inner ring 101 and an outer ring 102, and a fixed plate 11 having a circular hole part 13 engaged with an external peripheral face of the outer ring 102 of the rolling bearing in order to fix the rolling bearing to a housing. A locking grooves 109 is formed at an external peripheral face of the outer ring 102, a plurality of locking parts 16 protruding to the inside of a radial direction are formed at an internal peripheral face of the fixed plate 11 in a circumferential direction at equal intervals by crushing processing by a punch, and a radial clearance between the locking parts 16 and the locking groove 109 and a radial clearance between the internal peripheral face of the fixed plate 11 and an external peripheral face of a small-diameter step part 106 have the same values.
