PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a less-expensive bearing device with a convenient configuration capable of adjusting the positions of an oil supply groove and a discharge oil groove according to a direction of load applied to a rotating shaft varying in accordance with a service condition.SOLUTION: A bearing member 11 is arranged in a bearing housing 12, a rotary shaft 5 is inserted into and passed through the bearing member 11. The bearing member 11 is provided with oil supply holes 19a, 19b for supplying lubricant oil 18 between the rotary shaft 5 and the bearing member 11 and an oil discharging hole 21 for discharging the lubricant oil 18 out from between the rotary shaft 5 and the bearing member 11. The bearing member 11 is formed with an oil supply groove 23 communicated with oil supply holes 19a, 19b and an oil discharging groove 24 communicated with the oil discharging hole 21. The bearing member 11 is rotatable in a peripheral direction of the rotary shaft 5 with respect to the bearing housing 12 and is provided with position setting means 32 for position setting the bearing member 11 in the peripheral direction at the bearing housing 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
