Abstract:
To provide a preload sensor capable of stably detecting a change in the preload of a bearing, compared with a conventional preload sensor, and provide a bearing device having the preload sensor.SOLUTION: A preload sensor 10 includes: a pressure sensitive pattern unit 22c whose direct current resistance changes in accordance with the pressure acting in a first direction; coating units 21 and 23 for covering the pressure sensitive pattern unit 22c; and a buffer unit 30 disposed adjacently to the coating units 21 and 23 in the first direction. A modulus of longitudinal elasticity of the material constituting the buffer unit 30 is lower than the modulus of longitudinal elasticity of the material constituting the coating units 21 and 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
