To provide a bearing device and a rotation driving mechanism using the same, having high reliability and long service life.
As bearing means 3 constituting the bearing device 1, a radial bearing means 4 and a thrust bearing means 5 are provided for receiving radial load on a shaft 2 and for receiving thrust load thereon, respectively. A lubricating oil seal member 8 is arranged via a void G between the shaft 2 and itself, and a resin housing member 10 is provided for holding the seal member 8 at its outer periphery. Members are held on the seal member 8 and the bearing means 3 by the outsert molded housing member 10, preventing the occurrence of a gap which causes the leakage of lubricating oil. The accuracy of forming the void G is sufficiently secured.
