Abstract:
To provide a bearing device for a wheel and a method of manufacturing bearing devices capable of fixing wheels and braking members to a flange formed at the peripheral surface of a hub with the required fastening torque without requiring much labor.
The bearing device of the wheel is equipped with the flange 18 formed at the peripheral surface of a rotary wheel and a plurality of hub bolts 20 to be fitted by pressure in hub bolt inserting holes 19 bored in the flange, wherein the head of each hub bolt is made in a non-circular shape at least partially so as to enable the fitting force to be checked by a torque measuring tool 27.
