To provide a bearing device for a wheel with a rotating speed detector, reduced in weight and miniaturized, prevented from the intrusion of foreign matters into a detecting part, and improved in durability and reliability.

The bearing device for the wheel with the rotating speed detector is provided with an outer member 10; an inner member 1 comprising a hub ring 2 formed with a small diameter step part 2b, and an inner ring 3 pressed into the small diameter step part 2b; a plurality of rows of rolling elements 6 held between both members; a cover 12 for closing an opening of the outer member 10; a pulser ring 13 fitted to the inner ring 3; and a detecting sensor 17 facing the pulser ring 13 and fixed to the cover 12. The inner ring 3 is fixed in the axial direction by a fastening part 2c formed by plastically deforming the end of the small diameter step part 2b radially outward. The pulser ring 13 is fitted to the large diameter side outer peripheral surface 3b of the inner ring 3 and fixed with an adhesive, and a seal 24 is mounted to the outboard side of the pulser ring 13.
