This bearing device is provided with an outward member 3 having a plurality of outside raceway surfaces 1 and 2 on an inner peripheral side, an inward member 6 having inside raceway surfaces 4 and 5 opposed to the outside raceway surfaces 1 and 2 on an outer peripheral side, and a constant velocity universal joint 7 connected to the inward member 6. Between a radial direction end face 40 of an inboard side of the inward member 6 and an end face 41 of the outside joint member opposed to the radial direction end face 40, a metal coating plate 42 having a coating film 45 on the radial direction end face 40 side of the inward member 6 and/or the end face 41 side of the outside joint member is arranged. The coating film 45 of the coating plate 42 is made of coating agent made mainly of solid lubricating agent and resin based binder.
