Abstract:
To provide nut loosening prevention means which is easily assembled in a bearing device for a wheel in which a hub unit and a constant velocity universal joint are coupled.SOLUTION: A bearing device 80 for a wheel includes: an outer member 11 in which outer raceway grooves 16, 16 are formed at an inner periphery; an inner member 12 having inner raceway grooves 17a, 17b, facing the outer raceway grooves 16, 16 and formed at an outer periphery, and a center hole 28 penetrating therethrough in an axial direction; and multiple rolling elements disposed between the outer raceway grooves 16, 16 and the inner raceway grooves 17a, 17b in a rollable manner. A shaft 81a of a constant velocity universal joint 81 is inserted into the center hole 28, and a nut 83 is threadedly engaged with a male screw part 91 provided at a tip of the shaft part 81a. A rotation stopping member 33 which restricts rotation of the nut 83 is fixed to the inner member 12 by threadedly engaging a screw part of the inner member 12 with a screw part of the rotation stopping member 33 and tightening the screw parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
