To provide a wheel bearing device for maintaining bearing performance over a long period while having improved sealing performance of a seal.
The back-up seal 13 consists of a core metal 14 and a seal member 15 integrally vulcanized and adhered to the core metal 14. The seal member 15 has a seal lip 15a adhered to a disc portion 14b of the core metal 14 and inclined extending radially inward, and a small lip 15b arranged radially outward on the seal lip 15a and smaller than the seal lip 15a. An interference between the small lip 15b and a rising plate portion 10b of a slinger 10 is very small or the small lip 15b has no contact with the rising plate portion 10b of the slinger 10, and so there is no possibility of lowering a sealing function with friction when the small lip 15b slides on the rising plate portion 10b of the slinger 10.
