The bearing device includes a bearing bracket 1 that is removably secured to the fixed side, and a bearing 5 removably secured to the bearing bracket by a securing means and having a shaft hole 6 therein through which the shaft to be supported is passed. The shaft 8 to be supported is passed through the bearing bracket and the shaft hole in the bearing. The bearing bracket is formed with a cutout 2 so that when the bearing is separated from the bearing bracket, the shaft to be supported can be disconnected from the bearing bracket by moving in its radial direction.
