To provide a bearing device having a long lifetime as product capable of establishing good lubrication between a bearing and a shaft.
A conventional bearing formed through injection molding with an electrocast part inserted has involved such a problem that shortage of the lubricating oil occurs due to dispersion or evaporation of the lubricating oil because only a very small quantity of lubricating oil exists in the bearing gaps, to lead to a problem with wear due to sliding of the bearing with the shaft. According to this invention, the oil held in an oil sump formed in the bearing is supplied to the bearing gaps through a communication hole, which ensures maintaining a good lubricating performance, and it is possible to preclude inconvenience due to a poor lubricating performance including noise emission, a wear due to contact sliding of the bearing with the shaft, etc. The oil sump is provided isolated from the peripheral surface of the shaft, and the oil is supplied through the communication hole, so that the area reduction of the bearing surface remains very small, and it is possible to avoid a drop of the bearing performance.
