To heighten oil film formation force, secure long time low friction and small wear characteristics, and improve durability by forming many very small recessed parts on the sliding surface of a shaft part to improve the oil retaining capability on the sliding part.
The bearing surface 5a of a slide bearing 5 is opposite to the sliding surface 3a of a shaft part 3 through very small bearing clearances, and when the shaft part 3 is rotated, slip is caused between the bearing surface 5a and the sliding surface 3a. Many very small recessed parts are formed on the sliding surface 3a of the shaft part 3 to form independent recessed parts, and distributed at random on the sliding surface 3a. The outside of the very small recessed parts are formed in a smooth even surface. Surface working for obtaining the roughened surface condition of the sliding surface 3a can attain a desired finished surface by special barrel polishing. Thus, the oil film formation rate in the sliding part can be improved so as to reduce sliding resistance, and obtain sliding characteristics stably for a long time.
