To provide a bearing frame for a cover of an underground structure, which enables level adjustment of the bearing frame without excavating a pavement material on the periphery of the bearing frame even if the level adjustment of the bearing frame is carried out again after the bearing frame has been set in a road or the like.
The bearing frame for the cover of the underground structure is formed of a bearing frame main body 4 for bearing a cover main body, a protective frame 5 which is detachably arranged on the periphery of the bearing frame main body 4, and covers an upper surface of a flange 6 and a peripheral surface 19 of the main body 4, and ascent/descent support means (support bolts 28 and special nuts 30) for ascendably/descendably supporting the protective frame 5 with respect to the bearing frame main body 4. The protective frame 5 has an upper face wall 20 which annularly extends along the periphery of the cover main body in parallel with the ground surface, and an outer peripheral wall 22 cylindrically extending from the periphery of the flange 6 of the bearing frame main body 4 to the ground surface.
