Abstract:
A lubricating oil composition comprising a perfluoro− polyether base oil and a fluorine−containing organophosphorus compound represented by the general formula: RfRPO(OR’)2 (wherein Rf is a perfluoropolyether group; R is C2−6 alkylene; and R’ is hydrogen, C1−6 alkyl, cyclohexyl, vinyl, phenyl, tolyl, benzyl, phenylethyl, or a group derived from one of these groups by fluorination). The lubricating oil composition is improved in antiwear and rust−preventive effects without impair in the heat resistance inherent in fluorine oil or fluorine grease. Further, the addition of a thickening agent to the composition gives a grease composition.
