Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance the fatigue resistance of the captioned bearing by forming a nickel barrier plating layer over the surface of alloy layer of a bearing and further forming, thereon, an overlay layer on which the number of recess of more than 20mum in diamer per unit area of square mm is less than 12/mm<2>. CONSTITUTION:Minute recesses are formed over the surface of the alloy layer of a bearing made of copper-lead system sintered alloy and a nickel barrier plating layer of 2-15mum thickness is formed thereon as a coating. Furthermore, an overlay layer is formed to stretch over said nickel barrier plating layer. The number of recess of more than 20mum in diameter is limited with 12 per unit area of square mm on this overlay layer.
