Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form without accompaniment of inferiority in the point of strength or manufacture, an auxiliary circulating oil path for feeding lubricating oil leading to one end face of a contra-rotating bearing to the other end face side in the vicinity of a return oil path, relating to a marine contra-rotating propeller.
SOLUTION: As a lubricating structure for a contra-rotating bearing 5, an auxiliary circulating oil path 34 is constituted by a space 22b provided between a peripheral surface of an outer shaft 20 and an internal peripheral surface of a propeller boss 3a and holes 22a, 22c inserted inside/outside the outer shaft 20 in a position outside front/rear each end face of the bearing 5 to be formed so as to communicate with the space 22b. In the bearing 5, no groove and hole serving as the oil path 34 is provided.
