Abstract:
To provide a nonlubricated machining apparatus, which prevents seizure at a sliding portion, and eliminates the need for supplying oil on a bearing support surface.
A rotor to be machined in an arbitrary shape while rotating is supported by a bearing block 1, and a micro-Peltier element 6 is buried into a portion near a support surface of the bearing block. A cooling means is disposed to locally cooling the support surface of the bearing block and the rotor to be machined, and a control apparatus 8 is disposed to control a temperature based on pressure or output from a temperature rise sensor 10.
