Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing member of a valve gear which sends a sufficient amount of oil to a cam cap side and prevents burning with cooling effect of a lubrication oil.SOLUTION: A bearing member 34 of a valve gear includes a cam shaft having a cam which opens and closes at least one of an intake valve and an exhaust valve and multiple journal parts 36. The bearing member 34 includes: a cam cap 38 which supports the journal parts 36 of the cam shaft from above so as to enclose the journal parts 36; and a bearing base part 40 which supports the journal parts 36 from below. An inner peripheral surface of the cam cap 38 which faces the journal parts 36 is covered by a resin coating film. Narrow grooves arranged along a circumferential direction are provided at both axial end parts of the bearing base part 40.
