PURPOSE: To obtain a bearing member for exhibiting its uniform slidability, self-lubricity, strength, heat-resistance, and provided with durability by impregnating and bonding with curing resin, a bearing layer obtained by plain-weaving blended yarns compressing fluororesin fiber and adherent fiber and a core layer obtained by weaving heat-resisting fiber.
CONSTITUTION: A bearing layer 4 is made of a plain fabric, using blended yarn 3 as warp and weft, while the blended yarn 3 is obtained by blending together fluororesin fibers consisting of four fluororesin filaments and adherent fibers of four polyester filaments, and a core layer 6 is made of a plain fabric formed by weaving heat-resistant fibers 5 of a glass fibers. A plate bearing member is formed by sufficiently impregnating a laminated body composed of the bearing layer 4 and the core layer 6 with a curing resin 7 made of an epoxy resin, pressing, drying and integrally sticking them to each other. The bearing functions enough as an oilless bearing accordingly, while exhibiting delicately and evenly without any patch self-lubricity and slidability inherent in fluororesin fibers on the sliding face. The bearing also exhibits its durability against the shock in operation for a long term to carry out stable bearing action.
