Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring system of a bearing and a method for monitoring which can monitor the state of a bearing stably over a long time.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a monitoring system of a bearing 1 for monitoring the state of the bearing 1 supporting a structure 2. The monitoring system includes: a strain detector 3 for detecting the strain of the bearing 1 or the strain of the building 2 near the bearing 1; and a strain information acquisition unit 4 for acquiring information on the strain detected by the detector 3. The monitoring system is formed to monitor the state of the bearing 1 on the basis of the information on the strain.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
