To provide a bearing capable of correctly detecting temperature of the bearing in spite of the fact that the bearing is composed of a multi-layer sliding member provided with a resin layer on a thrust member or a sliding member with the shaft.
The sliding member is composed of the resin layer 7b made from polytetrafluoro-ethylene, and the resin layer 7b is formed of the multi-layer sliding member spliced by a backing metal 7a and in the bearing 7 forced via the resin layer 7b. An engaged aperture 7c having the depth over the layer thickness of the resin layer 7b is provided from the resin layer 7b side, and a metallic member for measuring temperature 7d made of a white metal is engaged into the engaged aperture 7c. At the same time, the temperature measuring portion 13a of the temperature detector 13 to detect temperature of the metallic member for measuring temperature 7d is located inside the metallic member for measuring temperature 7d.
