Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing seal which hardly causes the intrusion of muddy water into a clearance between a flange and an outer ring even if the muddy water which is scattered from an inclined face of a weir part arranged at an external peripheral face of the outer ring, and abuts on the flange falls without being scattered to the outside of a radial direction, and can enhance seal performance.SOLUTION: In a bearing seal, a lip seal is arranged between an outer ring at a stationary side and an inner ring with a flange at a rotation side, an annular weir part is arranged at an end part at a flange side being an external peripheral face of the outer ring, and an inclined face in a direction in which the inclined face is gradually expanded in diameter as approximating the flange is formed at the weir part. An annular protrusion which protrudes toward the weir part is formed at the flange, and the inclined face in the direction in which the inclined face is gradually expanded in diameter as approximating the weir part is formed at the external peripheral face of the protrusion.
