Abstract:
To prevent degradation of a seal member, and to improve the wear resistance in a bearing of a seaming spindle of a can seaming machine.
In a sealing device of the bearing (6) of the seaming spindle, a ring-shaped protective member (30) formed of a chemical-resistant, heat- resistant and wear-resistant resin is disposed on the atmosphere side of an oil seal (8), and a ceramic thermal-sprayed film (31) using a ceramic mainly consisting of metal oxide is generated on a sliding surface which slides with the seal member in a slidable contact manner.
