Title:
BEARING FOR SHAFT END
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0842566
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To suppress the wear of an axial bearing part and prolong the service life of bearing.

CONSTITUTION: A bearing 41 for a shaft end arranged at a rotary body 3 rotated between a fixed supporting shaft 1 and a fixed wall 2 positioned facing the shaft end comprises a radial bearing part 41R between the supporting shaft 1 and the bearing for a shaft end; and an axial bearing part 41A between the fixed wall 2 between the bearing for a shaft end and the fixed wall 2. The axial bearing part 41A is formed in such a manner to have a ball 5 made of ceramics making contact with the fixed wall 2 is arranged at a bearing body. Since the bearing 41 and the fixed wall 2 are brought into slide contact with each other through the ball 5 made of ceramics, this constitution adjusts wear of the bearing 41.
