To provide a bearing structure of a drive mechanism, an image reader, and an image forming device, preventing generation of a chatter of a bearing member inserted into a bearing hole, preventing generation of an impact sound at start/stop time and an abnormal sound at normal operation time and preventing deterioration of drive performance and of durability.
A bearing member 32 is formed capable of loosely fitting relating to a bearing hole 31, a pressure mounting member 33 for pressure mounting the bearing member 32 relating to the bearing hole 31 is provided between the bearing member 32 and the bearing hole 31. In this way, by providing the pressure mounting member 33 between the bearing member 32 and the bearing hole 31 and pressure mounting the bearing member 32 relating to the bearing hole 31, generation of a chatter can be prevented in axial and radial directions of a drive shaft, so that generation of an impact sound at start/stop time and an abnormal sound at normal operation time by a load at driving time can be prevented, deterioration of driving performance and durability can be prevented.
