Abstract:
To provide a two-stage bearing having an improved positive effect of holding lubricating oil.
This fan motor comprises a frame body formed by a base and a cover, the bearing installed in the frame body and having a shaft hole in the center, a rotating shaft inserted into the shaft hole of the bearing and rotatably supported by the bearing, a stator encircling the bearing, an impeller fixed to the top end of the rotating shaft. A cylindrical portion is formed on the outer peripheral face of the rotating shaft, and a plurality of inclined oil grooves are provided in the outer peripheral face of the rotating shaft located on the upper side of the cylindrical portion.
