Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing structure of an internal combustion engine capable of easily supplying a lubricant to a sliding face of a washer.SOLUTION: A bearing structure has a bearing member 10 and a bearing cap 20 having a bearing hole 11 and a bearing hole 21 penetrated from one end side to the other end side to insert a crank shaft 2 at an inner peripheral side of the bearing hole 11 and the bearing hole 21, a main bearing 30 disposed on inner peripheral faces of the bearing hole 11 and the bearing hole 21 and rotatably supporting the crank shaft 2, and a washer 40 disposed on at least one of one end side and the other end side of the bearing member 10 and having a sliding face 41 sliding with a thrust collar 2c of the crank shaft 2. The bearing member 10 and the bearing cap 20 have a padding portion 14 and a padding portion 22 formed by projecting at least a part between the main bearing 30 and the washer 40 in an axial direction of the crank shaft 2 of the inner peripheral faces of the bearing hole 11 and the bearing hole 21, radially inward.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
