Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate an adjustment of a clearance between bearings by a method wherein an outer race of one of the radial bearings is pushed against the other radial bearing by a leaf spring and a thrust force of the leaf spring is transmitted to the thrust bearing through a driving shaft. CONSTITUTION:A driving shaft 3 arranged in a casing 2 of a slant plate type axial piston machine 1 is supported by the bearings 4 and 5. In this case, the first bearing 4 is arranged at the outer end of the driving shaft 3 so as to constitute a radial bearing having a high load of thrust loading capability, while the second bearing 5 is arranged at the other end of the driving shaft 3 so as to form a radial bearing having no loading ability of thrust loading. Then, an outer race of the radial bearing 4 is provided with a leaf spring 6 for pushing it toward the radial bearing 5. A steel ball 7 is arranged at the end of the driving shaft 3 facing to the radial bearing 5, a steel ball receiving seat 8 is arranged between the steel ball 7 and the casing 2, thereby the thrust bearing is constructed.
