To provide a bearing structure that suppresses an increase in resistance of split bearings during the rotation of a rotary shaft.
The bearing structure is configured as follows. The radial thickness of each end 7c, 7d on a contact surface b between adjacent split bearings 7a, 7b split on the plane including a rotary shaft 4a is configured such that the thickness of one end 7c located on the advancing side in the rotation direction of the rotary shaft is formed thinner than that of the other end 7d located on the delaying side in the rotation direction. By the configuration, the thickness of the end 7c located on the advancing side in the rotation direction of the split bearings 7a, 7b is formed thinner beforehand, therefore, even if an assembling error or a manufacturing error or the like occurs, it inhibits the end 7c from further protruding to the radial inside than the end 7d on the delaying side in the rotation direction.
