To improve rotation followability in a vertical face while effectively supporting a perpendicular downward load by reducing the size, and regulating displacement by supporting a large horizontal load.
The bearing unit has an upper shoe 42, a lower shoe 43, a core material 44 fixed to the lower shoe 43, and a first elastic body 48 and a second elastic body 49 which are arranged between the upper shoe 42 and the lower shoe 43 so as to function as a parallel spring. The first elastic body 48 and the second elastic body 49 are arranged to partly overlap each other in the thickness direction at different levels. The core material 44 can regulate the relative displacement of the upper shoe 42 and the lower shoe 43 within a predetermined limit even if a horizontal shearing force acts. The core material 44 is retained by the support part 53 around the hole part 52 of the upper shoe 42 not to separate the upper shoe 42 from the lower shoe 43 even if a power raising the upper shoe 42 acts.
