Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent fire and smoke from propagating and spreading from downstairs to upstairs, and easily prevent the flames from spreading to upstairs with little material.
CONSTITUTION: In a bearing wall structure for a residence 1 having a secondary structure 3 facing a primary structure 2, the interior side of the outer wall of the secondary structure 3 is formed of a gypsum board. The clearance between the primary structure and the secondary structure on the outside which is the boundary part between the upper and lower floors is filled with a glass wool 5 over the whole length.
